Refurbished Copiers

Just as good as new

If you’re looking to buy a copier for your office or home but are on a tight budget, you may want to consider getting yourself a refurbished copier. These are basically used copiers that have been overhauled, if necessary, or have had their parts replaced or updated. They are generally taken apart, cleaned, and then put back together with new parts where needed. Then they are tested thoroughly to make sure they are in excellent working order.

These could be copiers that have only been used for a few months or they could be models that have been used for a few years, but have low usage. With newer copiers, there’s a good chance that they haven’t had any repairs made to them or parts replaced yet.

You can usually find refurbished black and white and color copiers along with more upscale multifunction copiers, digital copiers, laser printer copiers and network copiers. You shouldn’t really have a problem finding your favorite brands either.

The key to getting a good refurbished copier is making sure that it comes with a good warranty or guarantee. The store that is selling it should stand behind the product even if it’s not brand new. Of course, you’re going to have to sacrifice the length of warranty for a lower price here.

Since you’re getting the copier for a cheaper price, the warranty is going to be shorter than it would be on a brand new copier. A lot of rental copiers are refurbished models and that’s not going to cause a problem as long as the rental company is looking after the repairs.

If you’re looking at saving some money by buying a refurbished copier make sure it can perform all of the functions you’re looking for. A refurbished copier that is guaranteed should be just as good as a new one.

The copier should come with the same standard features and specifications as a new model. After you’ve compared resolution, output, and optional functions on various brands of copiers to decide on the model you like, you should look for the same model in a refurbished copier to see how much money you could save.
